The history of the Snake River is written in the water, but the future is being shaped by the people who have the most to lose. I was asked to make a portrait of a youth leader—one of the voices behind a powerful letter to the White House—calling for the removal of
the four Lower Snake River dams. We met on a quiet stretch of the river, far from the halls of power, to capture a moment that felt less like a political statement and more like a personal vow. She stood there with a steady, quiet resolve, her presence a bridge between the generations that have fought for these waters and the salmon that are struggling to return to them.
All frames are available in portrait and landscape orientation. Your print sits within a mount inside the frame, and the overall size is what hangs on your wall.
