The original from your camera roll, whenever you can. JPEG, PNG and HEIC all work, so iPhone photos go straight in with no converting.

Photos sent through WhatsApp or saved from social media lose detail, which limits how large we can print them. If a photo is too small for a size, we'll tell you before you order.

We only offer the sizes your photo will print beautifully at, so you'll never be disappointed when it arrives.

The most common reason a photo falls short is that it has been sent through WhatsApp or email, which quietly shrinks it. Ask whoever took it for the original from their camera roll, and you'll usually find the larger sizes open up.

Not quite yet. For now we work from digital files, so anything on your phone or computer is ready to go, and a good scan of a treasured print works beautifully. Framing for posted prints and keepsakes is on its way, so do check back.

Bigger than you might think. An original photo from a recent iPhone holds far more detail than your screen shows, and will often print beautifully at Standard or Statement, sometimes larger.

Our mouldings are made by hand in the UK from responsibly sourced engineered timber, which keeps a clean, true line and won't warp with the seasons. They come in black (The Dahlia), walnut (The Honeysuckle) and white (The Orchid).

Your photograph is printed with archival pigment inks on FSC-certified satin paper, set in an acid-free mount behind 2mm float glass.

Upload your photo and we'll show it hanging on a wall at every size it prints well, so you can see exactly how it will feel in your room before you decide. Every price includes the print, mount, glass and frame.

Every frame arrives with D-rings and hanging cord already fitted, so all you need is a hook, a nail and five happy minutes. It really is ready to hang, straight out of the box.

Very little. A soft, dry cloth over the glass now and then is plenty. Keep it out of strong direct sunlight and away from damp, like a bathroom, and it will look as lovely in years to come as the day it arrived.

Everything except delivery: the print, the mount, the glass, the frame and the fittings, all made by hand. Every order comes with a free recycled-cotton tote.

We deliver across mainland UK. Every frame is made to order and sent from our workshop by DPD, arriving within 10 days and often sooner. You'll have a tracking link by email, so you know exactly when to expect it.

Get in touch as soon as you can at support@framewick.com. If your frame hasn't gone into production yet, we can usually change or cancel it without any trouble. Once printing and framing have begun we may not be able to, as each one is made just for you, but we'll always do our best to help.

Once your frame is on its way, you'll receive an email with a DPD tracking link, so you can follow it from our workshop to your door.

DPD let you change the day, choose a safe place or send it to a neighbour, all from the tracking link they send you.

Most frames are on their way well within 10 days. If it's been longer and you haven't heard from us, write to support@framewick.com and we'll find out exactly where yours is.

Every frame is checked by hand before it leaves us. If anything isn't right when it arrives, send a photo to support@framewick.com and we'll replace it at no cost to you.
